Guacamole Dip

One of my favorite afternoon snacks is tortilla chips dipped in this healthy yet delicious guacamole. This recipe is simple, quick, and packed full of flavor. It also makes for the perfect Mexican side dish alongside tacos or fajitas.

The recipe is as follows:

Guacamole Dip:

PREP TIME: 15 mins
TOTAL TIME: 15 mins
MAKES: 4 servings


  • 3 avocados – peeled, pitted and mashed
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 3 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 plum tomatoes, diced
  • 1 tsp minced garlic


In a medium bowl, mash together the avocados, lime juice, and salt. Mix in onion, cilantro, tomatoes, and garlic. Refrigerate 1 hour for best flavor, or serve immediately.
